Members of the Ameritege management team are veteran software industry executives who have proven track records of running both private and public software companies. They have founded and acquired numerous commercial software businesses and products and have managed large-scale internal and external development efforts for the Global 1000 and government agencies.

Jeffrey Witous

In 1999 Mr. Witous co-founded Ameritege Technology Partners and as General Partner helped to source and close more than a dozen successful investments and acquisitions in both start-up and late stage enterprise technology companies. Notable transactions include UTS Global, Assist Cornerstone technologies, Inc. JB Systems, Inc. (Mainsaver Software), neubloc, Inc., and Proximetry, Inc. As a hands-on investor, Mr. Witous has taken operational responsibility as CEO for two portfolio investments and co-founded three others. The Ameritege portfolio has experienced a number of strategic exits and today maintains four profitable growth companies. In 1993 Mr. Witous co-founded TriTeal Corporation, an enterprise desktop software, security, and infrastructure company he took public in 1996, and followed in 1997 by a secondary public offering. From 1988 to 1993 he was a National Business Development Manager for Sun Microsystems, responsible for managing teams to capture large scale, multi-year federal government and international contracts. Prior to Sun he held various business development positions with Digital Equipment Corporation and 3M Company. Mr. Witous holds a B.S. Degree from California Polytechnic State University and has participated in executive management programs at Stanford University and the University of California. Mr. Witous serves on the Board’s of Ameritege, Mainsaver Software, Assist Cornerstone Technologies, and LCA Educational Foundation.


Alexander Nawrocki

Focusing on technology and the international development infrastructure of Ameritege, Dr. Nawrocki brings more than 20 years of technology leadership, management and industry experience in areas including data warehousing, compiler design, object oriented programming, real-time computing, and Java development. Utilizing his fluency in seven languages, Dr. Nawrocki is responsible for worldwide engineering operations for Ameritege. Prior to Ameritege, he was CEO at Syslog Inc, managed engineering for Aonix Inc., and was senior program manager for Space Operations at the Canadian Space Agency. While with the Canadian Space Agency, Dr. Nawrocki successfully completed flight control training with NASA and was the Canadian Space Operations liaison. In addition, Dr. Nawrocki is a founding member of the Java-Consortium, is active in several other technology standards boards, and chairs various technical and advisory committees. He holds a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Electronic Engineering, Master's degree in Computer Science ("Summa Cum Laude") and PhD in Aerospace Engineering.



Arthur Budman

Mr. Budman has over 18 years of experience with emerging growth technology companies. He has successfully completed two public offerings and raised over $60 million, as well as $11 million in private equity from institutional, venture and private investors. Mr. Budman has significant experience in guiding companies with their strategic direction and in profitable restructurings. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions on both the buy and sell sides. This experience helps Ameritege to acquire, manage and divest of its portfolio companies. Prior to Ameritege, Mr. Budman was General Manager of Celergy Networks, Inc., a $10 million data and telecommunications service company where he successfully restructured the company and acquired their largest competitor. Previously, Mr. Budman was president of Internet Products, Inc., a filtering appliance software company leading the company's product direction, capital fundraising and eventual sale. His experience also includes, CFO of TriTeal Corporation, an enterprise software company based on advanced desktop hyper text-based technology spun-out of HP. Mr. Budman provided the infrastructure for growth from 20 to over 150 employees, establishing the Company's European headquarters, as well as raised private equity and successfully completed the Company's IPO and Secondary offerings. He served as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young LLP, working with over 100 emerging growth companies. Mr. Budman is a co-founder of the San Diego Software Industry Council and also serves on several Boards.



David Shlager

Mr. Shlager has more than 25 years of experience in the high technology sector, delivering sales, marketing and operational experience in both established and start-up company environments. He has participated in the development of companies from business plan creation and funding to IPO, as well as creating and implementing operational models for established enterprise software company's. His focus on the application of emerging technology to commercial applications has provided a wealth of commercial experience the development of corporate business models. Mr. Shlager's has been a member of management at, Symbolics Inc., Lucid Inc., HNC Software, Vocollect Inc., WhizBang! Labs, and Mainsaver Software an Ameritege Partners owned company.



Debra Tye

Functioning as the CFO for Ameritege, Ms. Tye has previously held the position of CFO and was a member of the board of directors at Liquid Investments Inc., a $170 million distribution business with 500 employees and eight operating entities. During her 14 years with Liquid Investments, Ms. Tye was an integral part of a management team that successfully evaluated and integrated more than 20 acquisitions totaling over $50 million. Ms. Tye's financial leadership is a vital asset to Ameritege's multinational financial structure.



James Dyvig

Mr. Dyvig has over 15 years of experience in product development and engineering management. His experience spans eLearning, knowledge management, CMMS, compilers, IDEs, realtime and embedded systems, OOAD development applications, client/server, and scientific imaging and visualization. Mr. Dyvig previously served as VP of Engineering for Peer3 where he developed eLearning and content management technologies which have become key components of one of the largest North American eLearning contracts to date. In addition, he has served as head of engineering for TriTeal Corporation and Aonix.



Armando Viteri

Armando Viteri joined neubloc in 2006 as president and CEO. neubloc is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ameritege Technology Partners, a privately equity firm, headquartered in San Diego, California, with a focus on investments in more than a dozen enterprise software companies. In addition to his role as CEO of neubloc, Mr. Viteri joins Ameritege as a principle investor and partner.

Mr. Viteri brings to neubloc more than 25 years of executive management and expertise in the enterprise computing, software, networks and services market with an impressive record of accomplishments. Prior to neubloc and Ameritege, Mr. Viteri was most recently President and CEO of RF Code, Inc., an emerging growth RFID solutions business where he successfully raised Tier 1 venture capital financing and delivered premier RFID hardware and software products to market. Prior to RF Code, Mr. Viteri co-founded and served as president of Pinpoint Corporation, the industry's first active RFID and Real-Time Locating Systems (RTLS) company where he pioneered the use of this technology for mission critical applications. Previous to Pinpoint, Mr. Viteri was executive vice president of TriTeal Corporation where he was responsible for creating both domestic and international sales channels and infrastructure, drove the advanced JavaTM development organization resulting in three patents, and was responsible for growing direct and OEM sales significantly over a three year period. Following three private financings, Mr. Viteri played an instrumental role in TriTeal's successful IPO in 1996 and secondary public offering in 1997.

From 1983 to 1993 Mr. Viteri held various sales, marketing, and management roles with Sun Microsystems, Inc. Joining Sun during its start-up phase he held numerous management roles for multiple disciplines during his tenure, and created, managed, and executed many initiatives that account for the success and growth of the business today. In addition to building and managing highly successful sales and marketing organizations, Mr. Viteri also managed systems engineering organizations.

Mr. Viteri has served on several technology company boards and variety of industry standards bodies. Mr. Viteri earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
